Welcome Week and a new school year

Last weekend was busy for all of the Thetas as we moved back into the Gamma house. After a long, quiet summer, the house exploded on Saturday with happy girls reuniting with familiar faces and bonding with new roommates.
On Tuesday, we geared up for Block Party! Block Party is held on the Butler Mall and is an opportunity for the new freshman class to sign up for clubs on campus and learn more about Greek Life and Formal Recruitment. We headed for the Mall, excited to mingle and talk to new freshman and answer any questions they may have about Theta and Greek Life in general. Unfortunately, after only 30 minutes, it started pouring and Block Party was cancelled. We are looking forward to a second chance at Block Party this Friday from 4-6 PM.
This morning was the first day of classes here at Butler, and after a long relaxing summer, we are preparing for another great semester at Theta. As the new school year begins, we have some very exciting news: It was recently announced that, once again, the women of Kappa Alpha Theta achieved the highest GPA of all of the Greek organizations on Butler's campus!

We are so proud of everyone for working so hard to achieve our goal! Lots and lots of Theta Love! Good luck with classes girls!
